Choosing a therapist can be intimidating. Dr. Rainwater helps with this process by providing valuable information about his practice and techniques. This design is intended to support this information with an inviting and comforting look.
Nantucket is both luxurious and casual. I paired navy and gold to suggest luxury, and to hint at the area’s nautical ties. Arriving at the site you see large photos of smiling kids in the sand, a rainbow of beach chairs, colorful sailboats –images of fun. Your eye is drawn to the “Nantucket Connection” registration tool. This tool is a primary means of acquiring new real estate clients. It is placed prominently on the home page to make users aware of it; and is included on interior pages where users are most likely to register.
Jonathan P. Radford works with some of the finest properties in the world. This site is both simple and traditional, designed to showcase high-end real estate. The home page features a slideshow of current listings, each linking to full details on the property. Below this: images, the property search tool, and text links, are presented in a unique and elegant manner. Information related to linked content appears on rollover of each image. The search tool fits seamlessly into this arrangement, and is placed so that it is easily accessible. The text links provide more information and visual variety.
Fun photos, videos, and gallery links are all prominently placed to engage site visitors. The color palette is bright and cheerful. Graphic elements from the Birch Hill logo are used throughout the design for visual interest, as well as to support their brand. Rustic textures are included for a classic New England feel.
Renee of Nederland Hair Studio is both fun and unique. I wanted her site to reflect her own style, and also the one-of-a-kind nature of Nederland. Originally I was working with a black and white background, but Renee wanted more color, which I think turned out great.
Because insomnia impacts many different types of people, this website is designed to have a broad range of appeal. The layout is simple and well organized for easy access to a large amount of information. The main navigation links are intuitive; and the bold headlines convey the basics of the treatment program.
This magical place combines contemporary folk art with a living piece of American history. It is made up of over fifty one-of-kind animals mounted on a restored century-old carousel. It is a place to experience fun rides, community involvement, and lots of smiles.
I used colors and fonts inspired by the fanciful logo, and the carousel itself. It's been an honor to help out with this amazing project!
Five Element Acupuncture draws from the beauty and wisdom of nature. In this design I use images representing the seasons to honor this tradition. Deb wanted to keep it simple, as well as convey a sense of wellness and health.
